Her on-camera work includes 10+ Colorado films and multiple commercial campaigns, including AAA Insurance, Colorado Lottery, PetArmor, and Shinesty. Dia is known for her quick wit and stage presence in comedy, having performed in Mortified LIVE and various comedy shows.

Maddy is thrilled to be joining the company of The Last Yiddish Speaker! She recently relocated back to Colorado after completing her master’s training at New York University, where she was fortunate to be able to participate in their mainstage shows and concerts around the city. She is so excited for the work ahead and grateful to everyone who made this show possible!

Hannah is now dabbling in the world of film and camera work, her last project being a collaboration with Dog in a Blanket Productions; however, the stage is not something she sees giving up in the foreseeable future. The Last Yiddish Speaker has been an incredible honor for Hannah to be a part of. She is so excited to share such a special, topical, and important story, and she hopes you have just as amazing a journey as she has.

Freelance director, master teacher, and producer residing in Boulder, CO, Amy has enjoyed a career that has focused on new play development and premiere productions around the country. She created and headed the Directing, Playwriting and Production program at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia (2004-2012) and is the Producing Artistic Director of The Hypothetical Theatre Company since 1992. With Theatre Or, Amy directed Sisters in Law (Firehouse and Newman Center). She is currently working on projects with playwrights in various stages of production and has recently produced and directed Stories for a Changing World: a Short-play Festival (10 plays over 2 days) with The Center for Musical Arts and is touring Ellis Island Stories with live music in the region.
A professional stage manager and sound designer in the Denver area. Recent stage management and assistant stage management credits include The Diva Royale, Assassins, Morning After Grace (MAPAC), Every Brilliant Thing, The Ballot of Paola Aguilar, Holly, Alaska! (BETC), and Shakespeare in the Parking Lot (DCPA). She is a graduate of the University of Denver with a distinction in stage management and recently graduated from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology with her Masters in forensic psychology.
A Colorado based scenic designer. Recent designs include Richard II, The Tempest (Colorado Shakespeare Festival), Mary Poppins, Sister Act (Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center), The Prom-Teen Intensive, A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder (Arvada Center), Gianni Schicci, Suor Angelica (Lamont Opera Theatre), Everybody (University of Denver), Winnie-the-Pooh, The Woman in Black (The Winnipesaukee Playhouse). Locally, Matthew has also designed for BETC, Curious Theater, Parker Arts, and Vintage Theater. In addition to theatrical design, Matthew is an associate designer with Lionfish Design, providing design and art direction for live events, broadcasts, and corporate clients.
A native to Colorado, and has been designing and sewing costumes since 2019. She found her passion for costumes attending MSU Denver while working in their costume shop and has since designed costumes for Rocky Mountain Theatre for Kids, Vintage Theatre, Northglenn Youth Theatre, and is Wonderbound Ballet’s in-house costume designer and wardrobe supervisor. She also owns her own costume design and alterations company, Crazybear Creations, LLC. Sloane is excited to be working with Theatre Or again, having worked on their production of Sisters In Law in 2021.
Anthony is very excited to be working with Theatre Or for his first production with them. Theatre has been a part of his life for a long time, either backstage or onstage. Previous ASM credits include The Ballot of Paola Aguilar (BETC), The Thin Place (BETC), and How I Learned to Drive (Colorado State University) along with his production credits as a technician through Colorado Shakespeare Festival. He would like to thank Theatre Or for their trust and commitment to him being a part of this production and to the viewers for coming to support local theatre.
Maru has been acting and directing for over 40 years now. She has a Bachelor’s in Art from UNAM in Mexico City, specializing in directing. Maru has participated in more than 100 plays as actor and/or director. She has also participated in a few films and some TV. During her artistic career, she has had the opportunity to lead and manage three theater companies: Grupo Bochinche in Mexico City, The 73rd. Avenue Theatre Company and Wheat Ridge Theatre Company, both in Colorado. She has been the prop master for several companies since 2009. www.marugarciaactor.com
For the past 40 years, Laura has worked as a designer, technician, and teacher at theatres and universities throughout the Rocky Mountain region, including the Denver Center Theatre Company, the Arvada Center, MSU Denver, the University of Denver, the Aurora Fox Theatre, Vintage Theatre and Phamaly Theatre Company. She is recently retired from the Department of Theatre and Dance at Metropolitan State University of Denver, where she designed costumes and scenery for almost 20 years as well as teaching in the BFA program in Applied Theatre Technology and Design. Laura is delighted to once again be working with Theatre Or where she last designed scenery for Sisters In Law.
Brian is pleased to be back with Theatre Or after serving as Technical Director for the original production of Sisters In Law in 2021. An active scenic and lighting designer along the Front Range, he has designed more than 650 productions since arriving here from the East Coast in 1998. He has been nominated five times, and won Henry Awards for both his scenic and lighting designs. He currently serves as the Treasurer on the Board of Directors of the Colorado Theatre Guild.
A designer and engineer working in the creative technology space, specializing in sound, video, lasers, and immersive systems. He blends creative vision with deep technical craft, constantly pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with the tools and technologies at hand. Sam is currently the Lead Exhibition Technical Engineer at Meow Wolf Denver. His previous credits include Blue Silk (Various Theatres), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Phamaly/DCPA), The Book of Will and Two Gentlemen of Verona (Colorado Shakespeare Festival 2022), and They Promised Her the Moon (University of Colorado Boulder). smorindesign.com
Originally from Colorado Springs, Amanda grew up immersed in a world of both physical and digital communications. She worked for a year as part of the Marketing & Communications team at Theatre SilCo in Silverthorne, CO and currently works in Denver as a performer, teacher, and Trader Joe’s crew member, to name a few! You’ve probably gotten an email newsletter recently that she put together–she hopes you liked it, but if you didn’t, she says just pretend you did. :)
